I have given several of these cookbooks as gifts. It's full of family style recipes. Every recipe I have prepared has been delicious. This is a great book for beginning cooks.
Was given a copy from my Aunt and have tried several of the recipes. So far, the have all turned out excellent. There is a variety of different foods and, if planned right, you can create an entire 3 to 4 meal the whole family can enjoy. With any luck, there can be more cookbooks to follow.
I enjoy having this cookbook in my home, not only for its delicious collection of easy-to-make recipes, but also because I know that EVERY SINGLE BIT of the proceeds go to help a wonderful cause! You can feel good about this purchase for so many reasons! )
I LOVE this cookbook! I've made several meals consisting of recipes from it (there's quite a variety), and all have been extremely easy to prepare and a big hit with my family! Whether you enjoy seafood or casseroles, roast (that recipe in particular is DELICIOUS) or stew, this book has it all! Makes a great gift and supports a wonderful cause!
