Just finished the last book of the series and wish it wasn't the end of it. I loved all the characters the great love between Hugo and Neve and Frances and Archie, the intrigues, and hardships.It was one of the best and unique time travel books I read. I also very much liked , that each book was more than 300 pages and not just short like novella's , following their Lives through all 5 books. I am hoping she will write a 6th. book to keep the series going.Product details

Great story...wish it was in one big book. The ups and downs are thrilling and the story is enchanting. Irena Shapiro knows how to pull at your heartstrings. This is how history should be taught in schools. It makes more sense as a story than just facts.
Aboslutely wonderful series. I have loved all the books in this series and I have been really looking forward to the release of this book. The only disappointment is that it was over too soon. I am really going to miss all the characters.
Having really loved the first 4 books in the series I was really excited to read to find out what happens to these wonderful characters in book 5. Not only was I not disappointed but I was blown away. The way this author just sweeps you along with her wonderful narrative made me unable to put this book down. Absolutely LOVED it and am heartbroken that this was the final book in the series!!
The Everly's have some of the worst luck despite being such nice adult compassionate people. Coming from the 17th century to present day was wrote with difficulty, amazing that any of the plans worked out in this day of CCTV everywhere. This installment of the entire story like any fairy tale worked out for the best all around. Would,I want to be in the 17th century or present time. I guess I'll,never know since the conduit between those times is closed now.
I like all of Irina Shapiro’s novels. Great ideas and good history. This particular book was a little longer than it needed to be, a bit repetitive. I could have used a little more details regarding some of the characters and their parts in the series. With several books and a lot of time between the books, I needed a little refresher. My biggest issue is with the grammar. Verb tense and pronoun agreement were the most glaring. Too many egregious errors. ‘Have went’? Seriously? And ‘Him and (name) were....’ or ‘Gave it to she and (name)’. These types of mistakes are painful. At least for me. Please get an editor who is more than passingly familiar with grammar. I will, nonetheless, continue to buy her books because I genuinely like the stories.
I think of all the Wonderland books, this was my favorite. I learned more about each character and their motivations. Max and Hugo-a fraught relationship. Jemmy-you really learn so much more about him. With Liza, Irina really explains how she got to the point she did because of her circumstances--making her a bit more sympathetic at the end (but not much). Neve and her relationships with her children and particularly Frances. You can see how much she cares. You care about them!
Irina has said in interviews that she admires Diana Gabaldon in how she describes scenes. Well there's a lot of detail in this book, you feel like you're there--so much rich detail.
IMO, there are some clues about a book (or perhaps books) regarding Jemmy. It feels like his story arc is not yet complete. And Ms. Shapiro's writing doesn't leave these dangling clues without forethought.
Well worth your time to read!
The final (?) book in the Wonderland series was bound to be a page turner! It kept me engaged throughout, trying to predict what would happen next! I had already fallen in love with the characters 4 books back, so it was a real pleasure to be reunited with them once again, to discover how they would find their way out of various dilemmas. Nicely paced read, enough drama to keep me screaming at some points, and even teary at others. It was also well-edited, which is very important for my enjoyment of a book. I didn't want the series to end...
